Products & Services
Rockbox are a company providing a wide range of musical and technology goods, as well as services including repairs and professional support.
Distance Selling
Rockbox do not currently offer direct on-line purchasing, however we do offer certain items through ‘Third Party Sellers’ (Reverb). Please refer to their T&Cs when purchasing goods using this method.
Warranty
Products are supplied with manufacturers warranty. If your goods develop a fault within the warranty period, we will endeavour to return, repair or replace the item for you as applicable. If you return an item to us for repair, we will repair it as quickly as possible. If we are unable to repair your product within 60 days, then we will contact you to discuss a replacement or refund.
Payment
All Prices are quoted in UK Pounds (£) and include VAT at the UK rate unless otherwise stated. Payment will only be accepted in UK Pounds (£) unless otherwise stated.
We accept the following forms or payment online: Credit & Debit Cards, Bank Transfer (on request).
Deposits
We accept a deposit as a percentage of the price of a product or service. Paying a deposit indicates that you intend to buy the item and it means you are entering into a contract with the Rockbox. When you pay a deposit, you and the business agree:
- The exact product or service that you are buying
- The deposit amount
- When the balance has to be paid
- The estimated date that the product or service will be provided
If your purchase is delayed we will notify you as and when we become aware of a new likely delivery date.
Please note all “Special Order(s)” ie goods ordered in from the manufacturer on an irrevocable basis and must be be paid in part or full as agreed at the time of order. This includes any item which is not typically stocked by Rockbox and has been ordered in at the request of the customer. The Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 does not apply to these items for any reason.
Refunds
Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Refunds are processed as quickly as possible and normally take 3-5 working days to show on customer’s account.
WEEE Regulations
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
If you purchase a new product from Rockbox, we can accept back your old product and will recycle it for you under the W.E.E.E scheme.
This service is provided on a like for like basis i.e. the new item is a replacement for the item you are leaving with us. If you purchased in store – you can drop off the old item for recycling up to 28 days from the date of new purchase.
